Saturday Morning THRIFT!!

This location is shown only to members

Yeah, YEAH - I know it's early. Well, why'd u stay up so late? Did you REALLY need all those drinks? Have an Alka Seltzer and drink a Bloody Mary and quit your whining! The early bird gets the worm, or, in our case, the best pickins' at Aunt Sally's, Good Willy's, & several other cheap church thrift stores - all which we'll be visiting on this morning's hunt!

So seriously, put on your pants and come meet us for a bagel and coffee @ Murray's before we head over to the Salvation Army to find God only knows what... remember, another (wo)man's trash is another (wo)man's treasure!

After fueling up, we intend to start our hunt at 10am, when the Salvation Army on 21st Street opens, and then walk over to the Goodwill on 25th St.  After rummaging a bit, we'll walk east to 'Thrift Row' on 23rd Street (between Lexington & 2nd Ave), which boasts having Housing Works, Uncle Sal's, Good Willie's, The Opera Thrift and Cause for Paws all within a 5 minute walk from each other!

If you haven't found something by then, either you're blind, dumb, or dead!!!  Natalia and I must be at the Anthology Film Archives on 2nd Avenue and 2nd Street by 12:15pm as we're seeing a film screening hosted by a friend of ours that begins at 12:30. SO, if you want to continue on afterwards, we suggest you take the train uptown to west 96th Street, and hit up the excellent St. Francis Thrift Store on 96th Street & Broadway, before heading over to the Salvation Army on across the street (96th and West End Ave).  Or take the train uptown to Times Scare, get off and walk over to Hell'z Kitchen to visit Katherine, our friend who runs Outcasts ThriftMention that you are a Thriftaholic, and she'll give you a discount!!  There is also a Great Salvation Army across the street from her, on 46th Street & 11th Ave!

Feel free to hit us up with any questions, comments or concerns you might have at [masked] / [masked].

Happy Hunting!
