Introduction

Recently laid off and SAHM of 2 who could use a little help with discounts for the home and family.

What is your favorite thrift store in NYC?

When I worked at AMNH, I was in Housing Works every day at lunchtime.

Who has the cheaper prices - Salvation Army, Goodwill, or Housing Works?

Hmm, it really depends I think. Some items are marked at really good prices and then when you go back, it seems like they charge more for comparable items. I'd have to really research it.
