Are you looking to make a little extra cash very easily? One way to do that is by selling on Facebook Marketplace. I recently started going through my stuff (because I have a lot of it) and decided to list it on Marketplace. And to my surprise my extra stuff sells very easily.
Most of us have clothes that we do not wear, that we never got around to returning or things that just got shoved to the back of the closet. I am sure you also have other little gadgets and accessories laying around that you have no use for or never used. If you find this to be true, then go sell it. It beats it sitting in the closet or the drawer forever.
Tips on how to become a good Marketplace seller:
- Make sure that what you are selling is in good condition. If the condition is not great, be sure to clearly note this in your ad because you want to get a good rating, and product description is something you are rated on.
- Do not overprice. There are so many people selling on Marketplace and if you want your product to sell, you have to be competitive in your pricing.
- Engage your customers. If somebody asks a question, quickly respond. Also keep them updated on the status of their order.
- Renew your listings when they expire. You will not always sell your things right away, but keep up with renewing and relisting your items.
- Be okay with lowering the price. If you have not received many clicks on your ad, consider dropping the price a dollar or two, it may make a difference.
